Winthorpe Bell Ringers

To Ring Church Bells:

You don't need to be strong or musical.        Men, women, girls and boys all ring.

You only need to practice one night a week and ring for service on Sunday.

If you would like to learn to ring, or if you're already a ringer, you will be warmly welcomed.

We practice on Thursday evenings 7.30pm to 9pm.

Looking for a new hobby? Ever wondered what it was like to ring a bell?

Have you ever seen bells being rung?  Then come and have a go!

Have a chat with members of the band over a cup of tea and see what is involved. See a demonstration of bell ringing and maybe have a go yourself. Find out more about bells and bell ringing. Come and see if bell ringing is something that might interest you.

Our practice night is on Thursday evenings from 7:30 to 9:00. Silent practices to learn bell handling skills can be arranged at a time to suit you. We also ring for services on Sunday as advertised in the Focal Point. We sometimes ring at other churches within the group.

All are welcome, but if you are under 18 years of age please bring a parent with you for your first go.
